Moto G 5G Unboxing & Overview is a new mid-range smartphone from Motorola it is powered by the Snapdragon 750G (Octa Core SOC) which has 5G support and this phone supports 11 bands of 5G it comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, has a triple rear 48MP camera and a 16MP front facing camera and comes with 5000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging It come with Moto UI which is very close to stock android experience with Moto Actions.

Special signature features is missing, metal body like Moto X like strong ruggedness, as everyone said AMOLED missing, I expect a decent moto boot splash screen, total disappointment for geeks, Motorola follows oneplus path. But only solace is 5G spectrum (11 bands), There is a sweet spot awaiting for OEMs to explore, 18K to 25K price band. No one bothers.

5 yrs back i bought motorola for $350, my dad bought samsung j2. i had too many issues with battery and finally died in 2020, the samsung j2 is still working fine after my dad passed away and my wife using it now. the amoled screen is not same as lg or samsung. the moto screen is not good in sunlight either. This time i saw moto g7 power for very low price and it was tempting. But all the pain it caused me in the past went over my head, so i paid $200+ and got samsung galaxy a series. I don't think i'll ever go to moto again.

There are multiple complaints on issues with calling and network mentioned on Flipkart reviews and message boards. Has some existing user faced this. Really interested in this phone but this issue is a deal breaker.

Stay away from Motorola, their service centers just spoil the device and blame you. And once they repair the fix lasts about 3 months only. Though costly and not as powerful go for Samsung if you want a reliable phone.

As usual bought the phone after going through the Geekyranjit video and GSMarena specs. The phone is fairly good with 6.7" display. At 19,999 (HDFC offer), I felt this is the best purchase. People asking for AMOLED/90Hz display should spend 4-5K more and also you could get a 33W charger. Moto did a perfect Job pricing it at 20K. You could also use a SDcard and expand memory, Which I did! *My Peers suggested Poco and likes. End of the day, Stock android matters.*

₹20,000 for snapdragon 750g and 5g band? We are not going to have instant 5g transition very soon and it's owned by Lenovo so yeah be cautious. M31s 8gb RAM variant seems to be better deal even now in ₹21,000 range.
