am planning to buy a sound bar, but my TV does not support optical or HDMI ARC. Can i connect my firestick to HDMI in of sound bar, and then buy another HDMI cable and connect it from HDMI out of sound bar to a normal HDMI port in TV ? will this setup be able to display video on TV and audio in sound bar? also will this setup work if I use output from laptop/set top box instead of firestick ?

I have the yas 108 which is the same except Alexa integration, the sound is amazing the dts virtual X 3D mode is breathtaking, you can download a app Yamaha controller to operate this sound bar and that’s far better than the supplied remote . Always always get a subwoofer with any sound bar your experience will be enriched manifold. The music playback on this is fantastic for the price it’s totally worth it. Are there better products with better sounds sure but they cost almost double . Top notch product from Yamaha

I have boat avante 80w soundbar. It’s bass is so very much deep and it’s hell lot loud. I bought it for ₹ 3500 and that was the biggest steal in any sale.

This soundbar is too old for 2020. And this soundbar is good for vocals only. Not for the bass lover or people who likes hard music. The instrumental sound plays very well.
